Have yahoo.com online in internet. But can find yahoo in widows or add remove programs nor desktop short cut

I have Yahoo.com on internet. welcome page, mail all of the free yahoo.com  yet some how my Yahoo Desktop short cut is missing and yahoo from windowds program. How do I download the yahoo shortcut to remin me to vist yahoo.com? I can sign in yahoo mail and other various free yahoo featurws . But with out a short cut I will forget I even have yahoo.com . I just cam acroos it by accident  and was still singed in. Any suggestion how to download yahoo short cut .I think my I.E. ex[;orer is ver 7 but not sure. I dont knw where to look for in I.E. what is current version

Go to Yahoo Mail
Right Click on "Yahoo Mail" on the top left
Choose "create shortcut" in the pop-up menu
Dialogue Box appears and asks, "Do you want to Put a short cut to this website on your desktop?"
Click "yes"
