Every story has an end but in life, every end is just a new beginning.

Sorry, I don't believe in these quick fix diet pills.

Senna is essentially a laxative. So any weight loss you would have shown would be the weight of your BM.

If you are looking for a quick fix, be prepared for what they call the 'yo-yo effect'. Unless its a healthy, maintainable lifestyle change you will always gain some of the weight back.

Arlene is right. If you are serious about losing weight, consult a doctor or join a dieting group -- you can do this online too. (www.traineo.com They have a free Weight Watchers group there that is so helpful, thats how I got started.)

Here are some things that have helped me in the past.
1. Having a set sleeping schedule where i get 8 hours. When your body is rested and in tune, your metabolism will be more efficient, you will be less stressed, and you will have more energy to exercise.
2. Keep a food journal. I always hated the idea of writing down what I ate because it made me feel bad. But once i started, I was able to see the changes I was making and see that they were working. Its very affirming. I also started to record my moods before i ate. This helped me see that stress triggered me to eat more.
3. Exercise -- but dont torture yourself. I HATE exercise... it seems like work. But there are a lot of alternative workouts that can be just as effective, if not moreso because you like them. My friends have always been jealous of my tiny waist... they would spend hours doing crunches, sit ups, etc. My secret -- Dancing. I use DVDs - Yoga Booty Ballet. The Goddess Workout. Carmen Electra's strip tease set. Anyways. Find something that works for you.
4. When you get started, find a food plan that works for you and follow it. I recommend Weight Watchers, Atkins. These have both worked for me and they are EASY. With Atkins the weight came off really fast (but I didnt take a multivitamin at first and got scurvy, due to lack of nutrients! Always take a vitamin!!!) Weight watchers came off a bit slower, but my skin was brilliantly clear, I had tons of energy, and still lost weight.

This is my advice.
Quick fixes never work, but you can use them as an AID to your weight loss.

Hope this helps.
