What to wear with high heeled knee high pointed toe boots

What types of outfits look good with high heeled knee high pointed toe boots?  I bought a great pair in London with a silver zipper all the way up the front. They look great with one outfit I have....a knee to mid calf skirt with an irregularly shaped hemline in a black cotton knit, handpainted with white paint by a Barcelona designer.  It has a fitted matching top giving the appearance of being a dress.  Other than this, I don't know what else would look good with the boots.

Are they black? If they are simple with out a lot of color on the boot then you can pretty much wear them with anything, like a hot red dress. Since I can't really see them I suggest asking a friend or family member who can guide you on what looks good...

thanks....but unfortunately all of my friends and family members are much more conservative (less daring) than I am... even though most of them are younger than me.  I WILL try them with a shorter dress... and red IS one of my best colors...besides my all time favorite black. so thanks again.

you can do a mini if tou keep the top modest as well....   I like to pair my boots w/ a denim mini a fitted tee and a vest over.   also, leg warmers/tights and a long sweater (if you are brave enough for it) try a black sweater and colored warmmers. and don't feel you can't wear pants with them.

A longer skirt looks great with a knee high boot but you can also always wear a pair of jeans with them. I know that kind of defeats the purpose of the higher boot BUT you can still wear them and the pointed toe looks great with a boot cut jean! You should look at some of the western wear here http://www.FortWestern.com/, they shoot a lot of their product with pointed boots...you can find some great wear on their site. =)
