The designer George Gill incorporated an eclectic mix of styles into his works. The original price of a six piece tea and coffee service was $60.00 in 1877. A silver-plated soup tureen currently in the Dallas Museum of Art, which matches this tea service in form and style is shown in Charles Venable, Silver in America, 1994, fig. 6.57.

Greetings Peanut:  The silverplates value has many factors, always utilize a professional appraiser for insurance purposes and enlist professional help if ever you plan on selling.  This isn't truly "vintage" as most would define it, but if you search AOL you will find links for sales everywhere.

Here is a link of one selling for $10.00 or best offer, 10.5 inches diameter, 1 inch height.....http://portland.olx.com/vintage-reed-barton-silver-plate-tray-stamped-large-iid-9186463

This link was just one of a series of them listed for sale.  I know nothing about the party listing this whatsoever, but hopefully this helps some with your question.

Happy Monday!

Arrivederci
