I have been diagnosed with Trigiminal Neuralgia. The MRI shows that the nerve affected goes up into my head with a blood vessel wrapped around it. I am taking Tegrinal, Elivil, Zoloft, Temazepine, and Baclefen. Right now it has not been bothering me because of the hot weather. Otherwise, it still get episodes with cool weather and breezes. Is there anything they can do with this nerve that goes up into my head because of a birth defect. I fall, very unsteady on my feet, have memory loss, etc. I am 61 yrs old. I am afraid to go anywhere so I am on zanax also. I can't get a job because I can't promise that I can get to work every day. Can they operate?
