We stopped at a great big place somewhere in ...

we stopped at a great big place somewhere in lampasas co. last year that plumb FULL of rustic texas stuff-from little doodads all the way to rustic furniture. it was located next to (or associated with) a classic car sales lot. I CAN'T REMEMBER WHERE and we'll be traveling through there TOMORROW! can anybody help me?

Don't know about Lampases, but there's an antique place full of old west stuff , arrowheads, etc., just outside Liberty Hill on Highway 29, going towards Bertram. Just past the city limit sign on the right ... mostley just open on weekends.. hope this was helpful...Cool

P.S. - If you do go to Liberty Hill, watch the speed limit veryyy closely - it's a speed trap from hell, and the cops (most, not all) are jerks in that town

no...we didn't go through liberty hill. it had to have been on 281 somewhere. we took 281 to 290 and then on to wimberley. sigh...thanks though! i'm sure (maybe!) we'll be  checkin' it out before long.

No problem - the place in Liberty Hill I mentioned, is called Fort Tumbleweed - actually looks like an old army fort, so it's easy to spot from the road - good luck with it
