I am confused about any tax rebates we may or may not be getting. I have looked on irs.gov.ogr and called to only be put on hold for an hour. Are we middle class people not on social security getting any stimulus check for 2009? It said something about yes we were on line but budget had been cut again so check would be for couples instead of 1200.00 would be 800.00. Then it said no it was coming in our checks at about 13.00 per week. What if you are laid off and have no income,how do we get anything in form of stimulus. They said somethin about the letters rcc on tax form for rebate but we did not do that on our 2008 tax form Something else was mentioned that if you are not working you can file all the back payments that you would have gotten on your paycheck next year when filing for 2009. Sorry but this is just not my forte and its all confusing to me so anyone know about rebate ,check stimulus or whatever please set me right on this. . Thank you
