No symptoms and can orgasms affect the transfer

i had 2 embryos transfered on day 5 may 19 on my second ivf cycle. this second time around i have not gotten bloaded as i did the first time. I could not fit into my jeans. the test was + however there was no heartbeat so the pregnancy was terminated. the sac was not growing either. Now i am due for my test on june 2nd but i am not feeling anything except for a little breast tenderness and sometimes a bit lower abdome discomfort. I did 2 pg test and they have come back -. Im freaking out I cant afford any more cycles and cannot take the time of from work a 3rd time. the dr kinda gave me hope when he made the trf. I wanted 3 transferred but he said that the embryos were good and he felt that i might end up with triplets so i said ok put two since in the first ivf cycle i had 4 put in on the 3rd day. I also wanted to know if orgasm not caused by intercourse can affect the transfer? Can my test still come out + on Monday.

Fertility Stories - infertility experiences of people like you.

Hi.

First of all, orgasm does not affect implantation, whether caused by intercourse or not.

It is a little too early for you to test - 10 days post transfer would be the earliest you'd hope to get a positive - so, yes, you could still get a positive on Monday.

Transferring 3 embryos doesn't significantly increase the chance of pregnancy, so don't kick yourself over that. If this cycle wasn't successful and you can't go ahead with another cycle soon, remember that things change over time and maybe in a few months or a year, things will change.

Good luck with your test on Monday :-)

Hi Rachel,

i did not write back b/c my beta was something like 8 or 80 dont remember but it was very low and i was not pregnant.  I just had the two frozen ones transfered yesterday but I do not feel any diferent.  can one still be pregnant with no symptoms what so ever.  i would like some cramping a little bit of blood sore breast something anything.  i cant afford to do this again and my husband is getting impatient.
