hi there, ice cubes is our softened water, right?? we use potassium pellets for the water softener. does that mean the ice maker is using the softened water?? had some ice cubes the other day and it was cloudy, salty as the ice melted, was just horrible tasting. in that case, was it dangerous to drink???? i disenabled the ice maker and will use store bought ice, good idea or not?? the ice cubes had a yellowish discoloration to them, not all of them. could it be that the ice cubes are sitting too long before usage?? helppppp!!
