What is the recourse if your tenant did not sign the new lease and when I got ready to ask her why, she then let me know that she was moving. I sent her the new lease in July of 2009
In most states if a tenant is not on a year lease then automatically it is known to be a month to month lease. But you are going to have to check the laws in your own state. If you mention which state you are in, then perhaps someone else from that state will be able to help you.
