Does anyone seriously believe that the IDF are the most ethical army in the world?! Maybe only the people in Israel would take Barak's word for it. We saw the Phosphorous bombs fired on civilians; we saw the wanton destruction of the houses of Gaza civilians; we saw the attacks on the UN buildings and the loss of civilian life. The IDF and Israeli nation are one in only being concerned in humiliating the Palestinians.
Why should anyone believe the Israelis are 'gods chosen people' when they behave in as barbaric a fashion as any other nation or religous group has in the past? An eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth- it is as much inbedded in the nation of Israel as any other nation.
