Volume equals One Third of PI (3.14) Times the Radius Squard times the height.

Formula for the volume of a cone.

Let us assume the Radius is 5 and the height is 10.
Then
V = 1/3 (3.14) x 25 x 10
V = .333 x 3.14 x 250
V = 261.405

Solve for H when we know all the factors.

H = 261.405 / {.333 x 3.14 x 25)}
H = 261.405 / 26.1405
H = 10 (checks out)

So

H = V / (1/3 PI R^2)

V= (1/3)*pi * r^2* h is the formula that represents the words
Volume equals one third of pi times the radius squared times the height.
Solve for h means multiply or divide the other parts, so that you end up with
h = NEW FORMULA
This is how.
Multiply everything by 3 and put V on the right
pi * r^2* h = 3V
Divide everything by pi * r^2 like this
h = 3V/(pi r^2 )
and you have done it.
I hope that helped,
Regards - Ian
