air volume calculation- I am trying to calulate the CFM from an exhust fan at its disscharge opening when I know the air velocity and the size of the dischage opening, ie sq. ft..
CFM means cubic feet per minute. To find the volume, multiply the velocity, feet per minute, times the discharge area, feet squared.
