May The Horse Be With You !

Hi Dawn ,  You have been friends with this man for a long time .  I'd think you'd have some sort of a inner feeling on what his reaction might be .  I say be open and honest with him , tell him how you feel .  His reaction back to you will tell you how much to tell him .  Communicate with this man , you may get a pleasant surprise .  I think it is vital in any relationship that you not only be lovers but that you are also friends .  Good luck and keep us posted !

Greetings Dawn:  A long term friendship is certainly an advantage for you.  Ask him the "have you ever" question.  "Have you ever wondered why our friendship never progressed to a relationship"?  Watch his expression and listen closely to his response.  You will know at that moment whether or not he reciprocates.

If your friendship is as close and lengthy as it appears, I wouldn't hesitate in asking him the question.  Close friends should be able to discuss anything openly.

Wishing you the best!

Thank you to the Wisest Woman!  The answer was very "soothing."   Perhaps with this, I will find it comfortable to bring up.

Thank you for your reply.  Communication is the key. I will keep you posted.   Smile
