A penny saved  is a penny earned

I live in florida and i am pretty sure that you have to be living in the house because to homestead exemptsion  you have to live in the home for 6 months and can only do one. House.  If your not living there as i think all insurance companies ask,  its up to get renters insurance.  I could be wrong  but its just like car ins, in fla.  To get a tag you have to have insurance even if its a very old car worth nothing.  You have to get p.I.P.  It is very hard to get house insurance in florida and very high with all the storms we have had the past 5 years.  I had insurance with one company for over 5 years and  drop me after 5 years because of the storms.  I had to go to new ins.  And my house was only 5 years old.  Sad

Hope this help.....You can check with a insurance company aand ask even on line.  Go to ALLSTATE.COM

Take care and god bless     nanadeeCool
