I have been married for 8 years. I am 35 he is 42. There are many stories of his wild life prior to me by numerous friends. Neither of us is over weight or have any health prob.s. We have kissed once in our married life. Also, we have had sex once where he actually took his clothes off. We have sex with him being fully clothed only in the missionary position with no foreplay or anything else: touching, oral, etc. He also frequents strip clubs, which he lies about until someone else slips up. He also lies about other thigs such as smoking, etc. He says I don't need to know because I will get mad and it's stupid to care. What would you recommend?

He is  not in love with you, he is useing you for something though. think about it, what does he get from you the most? maybe money, maybe he is dependent on the kind of care and lifestyle you supply the mother type.

Take steps...

Talk to him seriously and maybe you both or you alone should talk to a counselor

I would recommend finding out why he got married in the first place. It sounds to me as if he needs a ring on his finger but would prefer the single life.

sounds like your describing my husband who has multible personality disorders type B cluters. It is dangerous, I would get him to a shrink fast. He does not love you, only himself, he is using you. It is a traint of the disorder. there are many traits of the disorders, lyng, cheating, being selfish, acting like their on stage all the toime, attention seelers, the list goes on...It will never stop, only get worse, there is no cure, no pill. get him to a shrink. I'm sry.

Kristy,

You are too nice to keep him.  He does not love you and care for you.  No amount of marriage counseling will change him.  You deserve a good man.

If I was in your shoes, he would have been gone long time ago.  The decision is yours.  if you can still take what he's doing to you, stay with him, if not, get rid of him.  That's not the way to live a happy married life.

dogbreeder, they can try to see a counselor. Why would they let their marriage collapse if they can work on it?

He seems like a very irresponsible, selfish man and these kind of men are not easy to change.  they are into themselves, don't care about others.

The marriage counselor can talk to him until he/she turns blue, but he won't listen.

Well.. you can't know what's really inside him. Anyway, even selfish and irresponsible people have a problem and need help!!
