What programs do you recommend that can offer a lot of unique and colorful picture transitions for a picture video I want to do?

A gentleman created a picture video on disc for me with outstanding, unique picture transitions....I have another one that I need created but he's not doing it anymore. Said he used a "plug in" type transition program...does anyone have any clue what this is or can anyone recommend a user friendly picture transition software package that I could use myself? I am desperate for help!!! I have the Adobe CS3 editing program....keep that in mind for compatability. Would like a program with LOTS of variety!!

I suggest start with Windows Movie Maker (FREE) then try Pinnacle Studio (under $100), then Camtasia (under $300), and then Adobe Captivate (under $500); check out Videomaker.com for more tips and ideas.

audio and video drop outs again

I have had a PVR since they came out with Shaw, and the problem of audio and video drop outs that Fox was bad. I'll try Detroit next. I talked to a Shaw tech and he told me that Cancom upgraded much complaining here it seems like I am not the only one to have this problem. Just hope this tech
