In light of what Christ taught, is a "pro-Israel over all" positioning "Christian", not as in religion, but as in following Christ? Salvation is offered equally to all--Israeli, Palestinian, Americans, etc.; is it not? Aren't Jews folks who were chosen to bring the "Good News" message to the world--but rejected Christ like all other sinners such as us? Why do a lot of Christians elevate Jews to be the master or super race? It contradicts what Christ taught about loving your enemy, and that at the foot of the Cross, the ground is level for all. The result is that Christians support the un-Christian acts of apartheid and brutal mistreatment of the Palestinian people because of this "dirt theology." Jesus came to make all things new. Aren't we to be known by our love; not by how many Arabs we kill?
