How can I prevent mineral deposits on a rock waterfall? It is about 180 gallons. I already use an in-line mineral filter on the garden hose for filling and the rock is coated with a water repellant called Deck Shield which is made for pool decks and water features. But I can see a problem starting. The waterfall builder says that I have to live with some deposits because of our hard water. Maybe I am looking for a miracle? azloafer@cox.net
simple i use to have this problem on a huge stone wall, get youself some peroxide and pour it on the area, let it sit for a while and you will be amazed, you can also scrub it with a brush. try it tell me if it worked. mike
