I have a used 3.7Mercruiser 165HP, 1988.There is no 90 amp fuse at the starter. This engine is equipped with a water-cooled voltage regulator. I need to know if the ORANGE wire, from the voltage regulator,,from the voltage regulator connect directly to the starter connects to the two RED/purple,from the circuit breaker,and the starter slave solenoid,, or,, does the ORANGE wire connect directly to the starter ?
