Hey would it make sense to paint a metal roof white? (It's dark green now). The current paint seems somehow fused with the metal, like the paint on a car. I don't want it to look hideous, and it might if the paint doesn't adhere well.
My purpose would be to keep the house cooler. We get shade from about 6:00 on. I also would want to make sure white is not a bad color for a roof. House is painted medium green with black trim. price is a factor as well.
