No human being is perfect and it is foolish to ...

No human being is perfect and it is foolish to try and this is how the church keeps it's power and has everyone feeling bad about themselves just for being human. The occult teachings of Jesus were meant for you to practice on your own, without belonging to a church, the so called priests practice in mass exactly what you can do in your own home. The priests are supposedly the only ones who can get in touch with God through ritual for you becuase supposedly we are not qualified to do this alone without the church, like a middleman right....wrong. Think about it. Jesus says to apostles I tell you the occult mysteries in plain english(translated -) but to the non-initiated I speak in parables becuase I cannot just give the occult secrets to anybody to protect against misuse. Go read and research the text right now. Simple translation of what I am telling you = It was meant for you to do exactly what the priest does on your own in your own home without any affiliation to any church. In fact you could design your own rituals to celebrate and worship God, Jesus, Holy Spirit if you like, Mary mother of God, etc what ever you like  and you would never be punished for that. It is as simple as that. How could it ever be more complicated than that and the church  tells you  it is more complicated than that and holds you hostage with the threat of hell to scare you into staying with them. This is not what was intended. Think of the ridiculous limitations the church has put on our humanity, our spirits and our minds. Remember the bible was heavily, and I mean heavily edited for the church's benefit, not yours or mine.

I am posting this as a question. What do you think?

Be Blessed.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seekth not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is (Love) charity.

Hi Fury,

I agree that we must have a personal relationship with God. You can be a member of a Church but you still have to come to Jesus on your own. I also agree that we should definitely pray at home. We cannot just practice our religion just on Sundays but we should live our religion every day.

Where I don't agree is that we should not come together as believers to worship our Lord. The bible plainly tells us in Hebrews 10:24-25 "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as we see the day approaching".

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Romans 10:14-15 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

You do not have to come together with other worshippers if you don't want to on Sunday or any other day and you are not guilty of anything if you don't. How could that be true and then be sentenced to suffer in a hell for an eternity simply for not showing up to an organized religion's service held on Sunday? Can you step back and see how ridiculous that is. The cult of Jesus had nothing to do with organized religion especially what goes on in present day. Americans take and use more than they need, then go to a church and preach to others that they must worship thier God and the true sadness is that the man Jesus was someone who took on the church and it got him killed, and on a symbolic level people can't do the same and go against the church today out of that same fear, only today we don't  crucify people or cut off thier heads for not submitting to the church's philosophy, today it's been knocked down to an eternity in hell.

Jesus commissioned his disciples in Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.

Jesus has already said in his word that the end will not come until the gospel is preached around the world. Man will have no excuse.

As far as babies and children they are automatically going to heaven, but as for the rest they will hear the gospel and will have to make a choice.

Even the souls that died before Jesus came heard the gospel. The bible says that when Jesus died he descended into hades to preach to the souls that were in hades.

If you had never read or heard of a bible do you think that you would suffer an eternity in hell or be allowed to enter a heaven when you die just for being born into humanity?

Fury,

You asked a question and I tried to answer it. I cannot argue with you. It is true that you do not have to go to church to be saved. I just gave you what thus said the Lord. I did not say that you would go to hell for not going to church. We are the church, not the man made building. Also, I don't see the question you asked me about the bible and if you never heard the word, I guess you erased it.

I am not attacking you I am just trying to get people to think for themselves.

I am not tearing the bible down I am saying the new testament was written about 40 years after the death of Jesus so it really is hard to say what was actually said and of course the church editing all of the books of the bible so now we will never know the full story that could change everything. Doesn't that bother you that what you are following was decided for you by a bunch of men more than 2000 years ago.

I hope others will keep this thread going as I will respond. I love philosophy and truth.

I started my question not to bash or argue with people....there is more going on today than a priest caught being affectionate with a woman.

The truth usually is something people don't like and I believe this is why they clutch onto thier bibles.

I am also suggesting that most prayers people follow like our father and hail mary etc. can be discarded and you are better off creating your own prayers from your human heart instead of repeating what you read in a book written for it's own time, not 2009 and beyond.

I am also suggesting that you can follow whatever God and faith or philosophy you wish without fear of consequence for not converting and professing your faith in Jesus.
