I am a very newbie of Warcraft. I just got couple of question

Hey mate,

1. Basically, you only have to buy the original game. The expansions just add tons of content, but the original is fully playable, and basically you don't need the expansions befor you reach level 58. Bear in mind that not a lot of people play the original game any more, though. The expansions are not stand-alone games!

About the gold, work hard! It's not difficult to earn tons of gold nowadays (used to be a horrible job in the old days...), just check out gold guides on the net.

2. I'm assuming you mean the 10-days trial for WoW. It's not a demo, and basically you can experience all of the original content in that time. The huge wall has an opening in it, in the south-west part of it.
