My name is naaz and i am a muslim and i am in love with a marathi guy(hindu) we are into this relation for more thn 1yr , my boyfriend is well settled in london, we want to get married by this year dec.

So we decided to tell our mums frst , my mum and his agreed with our relation, but my aunty did a brain wash and after listing to her my mum is totally against our relation

But iam firm in my decision i will marry only him but i still need to Convince my mum

I love him like a mad and we cant live without eachother

Pls help!!!!!!!!!!!

I can understand where you are coming from. My fiance' and I have been together for 7 years (we dated for 5 and have been engaged for 2), and my father hated him. If you really love your boyfriend (and it sounds like you do), then I would simply explain to your mum that no matter what she says or does, you are going to marry him. That's what I said to my father, and he eventually came around. Hopefully your mum will too, but if she doesn't, then you've done all you can. Most people go their whole lives looking for true love, and when you are lucky enough to find it, don't give it up. Once your mum sees how happy he makes you, she might realize that that's what really matters...her daughter's happiness. I wish you luck:)

Life is sweet to those who are making a difference...

Family is the most integral part of any one's life. It is a support system, but at times what you want, especially your heart should come first. You love him and if there is anyone who does not understand a situation where a Muslim and Hindu love each other; the best thing will be to use a family member that understands to explain. If nobody understands, then you will be left with one choice, listening to your heart. Good luck...
