i have a 7 1/4 oz jar of olde fashion licorice in a glass container and it sys packaged by freshpak candy company frm molina il. it looks like an old canning jar tht has the wire clasp tht goes over the top to seal it and on the bottom of the jar it sys 1879. any idea when it might have been produced or how old it might be. i dont think the date on the bottom of the jar is the right date, prbly just for display. it does say on the front of the jar it is a collector item.
