I have new American Standard oil furnace with an outside exhaust vent. Getting "white powder" on seams of galvinized flue pipe? Any ideas what this is?
It is the zinc galvinisation oxidising. Not a majior consern untill you see red brown rust then have the vent replaced.
What did you say? Have new american standard oil furnace?? Are you line and sinker flaky? Why would some1 have new american standard oil furnace anymore?!
