Have a rental house with moisture on a spot on the kitchen wall.  I had earlier blown in insulation and installed foam sheathing and new siding. Could it be they missed a spot while blowing the insulation?  Rather than go outside, I had planned on drilling a few holes around the spot and using spray foam.  Does this sould like a reasonable solution?

Drilling small holes is a good idea to let the moisture escaqpe, however, spray foam expands and could ooze out through the holes creating a mess. Better to insert barley or rice to absorb moisture, then once it begins to dry, fill in the holes with spackling compound, and when its dry hand sand with medium sandpaper, then paint the wall. You must do something quickly before mold grows.
