Sound  makes are there decent sound guitars can be brought for $100 up to $250 I been told Sam Ash has large varity and they sell from less to very expensive. I just want decent sounding guitar to learn on and plsy for my pleaser that decent . What are the things one should look for and at on Acoustic /Eletrc Guitar. My old kit pakage guitar  is ok But Like to add another one And with Diffrent color . last Sam Ah I herd of , what other music instrument stores should I check out. I don;tneed a $599 martin  But herd Ibenez sounds decent and theygo for under $299 also I dont want metal fret edges sticking out in sections of the fret board that will scrat fingers.  So spects pros and cons would be helpful and name of few stores have good prices for the beginer and yet can continue to play keep as skills play inproves.

At one time I owned an Ibanez 12 string that was very very nice and an Ibanez strat type electric I was very fond of. They do make fine guitars, both electric and acoustic. As does Takamine. I would also look at used guitars. Some good values can be found in pawn shops. Like a Fender Strat for like 150. Of course you have to pop for the amp, as well. There's no necessity to get a new guitar, really. Guitars hold their value over the years if they're good quality instruments to start with.

Yamaha is an inexpensive accustic guitar, good sound quality. What I look for in a guitar, electric or accustic is a straight neck, a 1/4 inch is too high for me, it makes it too hard to fret, epiphone is a good guitar, it is made by gibson.

I hope this helps
