"living with the dead" Does anyone live in a house that use to be a mortuary or a funeral home

Does anyone out there live in a house that use to be a mortuary or a funeral home ???????

Need to talk with you

We are buying a house that was built in the early 1900's

The house use to be a mortuary / funeral home

There are lots of small bedrooms ( viewing rooms ) & even a small basement that was used for embalming the corpse's.

It is super cute in a lot of ways with it's 12 pane french doors & crystal door knobs

Also the most huge claw foot tub you ever seen

A huge step up walk in closet...it awesome, but I think it use to be the FREZZER !!!! :O

Not to mention I am & have been in the study of the craft most of my life

But even this place give me the creeps

Is it haunted ?

How will I know if they want me there before I give up 120.000.00 of my life savings

We have asked to spend 3 night in the house before we sign in blood...lol

What should I excpect if anything at all ?????????

PLEASE Comment: any info will help

I'm dieing to hear from you....   ((( sorry I couldent help myself )))

BUT SERIOUSLY...... I dont really know if I can go through with this ?

Blessed Be ~ Tabby )o(

Not quite, but close.  We have friends that have lived in their funeral home for 45 years.  Our daughter moved into the house with their daughter for about 2 years.  Since we beileve a person is dead when they die and there is no such thing as haunting there should be no problems.  Our friends will make up stories for people because they want to hear them and when we get together they tell us about them and laugh because people actually believe dead embalmed people come back to life.  Our daughter said that she would hear noises in the night, but that isn't unusual for a house that is nearly 100 years old.  Of course you can make anything scary, some people are afraid of the dark.

Tabby, If the place gave you the creeps, ask yourself this; was it the idea that gave you the creeps or did you truly 'feel' something? The place sound beautiful and would be hard to turn away from. If you and your family could go in, alone, for awhile. Talk about the house (not about the mortuary). Go room to room discussing decorating options & etc. Just talk about the positive qualities of the home. Go everywhere in the house even the basement. Have everyone go to their prospected rooms and write down their decorating ideas. Or draw a picture where they want their furniture. Then after you do this visit ask yourself and your family members, at anytime did you get the creeps? Dizzy feelings, nausea, sudden headaches, feeling that you are being watched or followed, seeing shadows out of the corner of your eye. Those are warning signs too, besides the chill up the spine. If anyone feels this I would go find another beautiful house. If you absolutely feel compelled to buy it, even though it creeps you out. Go find a different house! Some people are lucky enough to not be bothered by spirits. Some are not, it is not a matter of 'belief' it is really about how your brain works. I know no one that could shut it off by saying their dead and gone. Children are the most susceptible, I don't know if you have any kids. Don't disregard any comments they make. If the place is haunted you don't want them to have to suffer because the house is a beauty. Good luck! Blessed Be, Tigerkatt        PS Let me know how this turns out!

Hi this is a situation where you have opened yourself up to spiritual attack so if you decide to stay the night and get in to deep ,Then call out the name Jesus for help ,

Jesus is the son of God How died on the cross for our sins he had no sin of his own to die for . therefore there is great power in the name of Jesus and if you use this power then you have to admitte to the reallity of God -YAWAH  TO THE JEWS .

Hello and no way would i buy this place, as it will haunt you and give you creeps all the time!! If you felt a presence when you toured the place get out!!!!!! As the saying goes "the dead can't hurt you only the living" lol!! In other ways it sounds like a great home and lots space and rms. Spend a wk. There and get to know the place and its surroundings!! Good luck and bless you!! Also have the house blessed by a priest or minister!! Later me Khyperqueen@aol.Com
