Would be nice if the author at least tried to get facts straight. Originally created Armenian Republic was 9,000 km2. Satlin became Secretary General of the party in 1922, Lenin died in 1924. At some time later armenians tried to rise this issue it was desided that Nogoniy Karabkh should REMAIN part of Azerbaijan. There're official documets in archives and one would think that anybody writing for such a reputable newspaper should do some kind of a research. Just check the ethnic composition of Yerevan, capital of Armenia and Armenia as whole 100 years ago, 50 years and 20 years ago and you'll see drammatic decrease in azerbaijani population from a majority to 0! (result of a systematic ethnic clensing by very "tolerant" armenians). The only reason armenians ended up in such numbers in Caucusus is the policy of a tzarist Russia and then bolsheviks to move armenians living in Iran and Turkey to buffer areas and inhibit the newly conqured territories by loyal population. Check russian authors. And why don't you write about mass kiling of local jews and azeris by armenian dashnaks and bolsheviks in Baku and north of Baku, in Kuba. Why don't you ask armenians how many jews (or anybody not armenian) live there in Armenia, it's almost 100% armenian. I'm very displeased to find such unbalanced article on jp site
