Can I put underfloor heating coils on top of an original pine plank floor and then put vinyl stick tiles on top of the heating coil pad?
EGADS! you may think. My 65 year old bungalow sits atop of a 'basement' which is pretty open to the outside. There is no subfloor beneath the pine plank and i installed the insulation myself, on the ceiling of the basement, with the vapour barier on the cool side. The pine is old and cracked and not nice with a toddler around.
