I like Cake

I have huge crush on my bff and when it comes to be more i freak out why is that?

I have the huge crush on my best friend for at least 8 years I told her about my crush on her and she fine with it. She only sees me as a friend and I rather let it be that way. She now is recently bi curious of the same sex but she isn’t sure if its envy or sexual. As for me I am bi sexual and what I don’t understand is that when I have a wet dreams about her or dating her in my dreams I wake up scared and freaked out. When she told me she has unsure feelings for me I just didn’t believe it although I don’t want to because I am afraid what will happen. It’s like I want her but then I don’t I like it the way it is but I want more from her. I don’t understand it I know she just see me as a friend and she might not like me in that way but why do I freak out if she does??

if we did hook up i am mostly afraid of

1 her and my parents (Religious)

2 we are best frinds for 10 yrs

3 what if it'll change everything

but i know we wont be a "we"...but i just want to understand my fright

Sometimes, even if we cannot put our finger on the cause, our bodies know when something isn't the best thing to do.  You may be attracted to her, but your heart knows it would be wrong ~ that it would never be the same between the two of you.  A great friends is not such an easy thing to find, is it?  If you relax about this and just be her friend, relalizing that your attractions is just that . . . . . an attraction to someone, I don't think this will bother you as much.  Just accept the occasional wet dream for what it is . . . . . . . sexual release, and enjoy the friendship.  You call it a crush, which is probably the best way of describing it.  An intense feeling for someone that usually doesn't last.  So, if you know that you are not going to act on THOSE feelings with her, and that there is nothing wrong with having those feelings for someone you care about, it should all calm down eventually.

I wish you nothing but the best!  I know how very important friendship is.  Keep your friends, Lolo.

SEX and FRIENDSHIP do NOT mix. If you are friends, you dont have sex. If you are lovers, you can never be friends again, because in most cases lovers betray each other. The two dont go together. Make up your mind what you want, and dont cry later when the affair is over and you have lost a friend. It can never be the same again. Its like you cant put the genie back in the bottle. I recommend that you take sex seriously for what it was intended, as an expression of love, and deepest commitment to your partner. Stop experimenting. The grass is not greener on the other side. The best fullfillment comes from emotional commitment, when your love is received with as much affection and enthusiasm as you give. Its between two people. Love is best when there is emotional commitment, when love is honest and true. Dont play with sex, you will get burned.
