Only if you replace the ballast with a dimming ballast. You also have to have a dimmer designed for use with fluorescent lights. They are both very expensive.
regular fluorescents do not dim. The ballast is either on or of. There are new CFL (compact fluorescents lights) that are dimmable, with standard dimmers. Look on the package to make sure they say they are dimmable. Alot more expensive as well.
