My dryer is not against an outside wall thus it is ...

My dryer is not against an outside wall thus it is vented through the slab foundation approx 10-12 ft then comes up from the ground outside ending with a 90' PVC Ell with a louvered cap. The problem is that moisture and lint gets caught within the length of the submersed vent creating an overworked dryer and a highly extended time for drying the clothes. What can I do to correct this problem.

Conservation: Paying more and getting less.

It might be possible to run the vent through the ceiling, across the attic and out the eave. Because of the fire danger, I would have someone that installs gas dryers and hot water heaters do this job.

I know it's a pain but clean the vent pipe one time a month. Snake a string thru it and then tie a large bottle brush to the end, then tie another string to the brush. always leave a string in the vent and tie to it.
