Eric, you were using the toilet auger totally wrong in your DIY film!! You will scratch the porcelain bowl that way and forever have to look at the scars. You need to first stick the auger down in the bowl so as the arced piece of rubber/plastic is resting on bottom of the bowl, then safely crank and feed the metal wound spring and head down the toilet pipes. THIS ASSURES THAT THE METAL NEVER TOUCHES INSIDE THE BOWL, LEAVING THOSE PERMANENT SCRAPES I MENTIONED. Also, be aware that the head of that spring may entwine and pull the blockage back up out of the toilet (Eew) instead of pushing it thru the line.Your friend, (also named Eric) jagket@aol.com
