I see we’re both in GCU History 107…
This verse comes from the Rig Veda Book 2 Hymn 28 (Loose Me From Sin) Line 6
it reads
"Far from Far from me, Varuna, remove all danger.
accept me graciously,
thou holy sovereign.
Cast off, like cords that hold a calf, my troubles: I am not even
my eyelid's lord without thee."
The translation you sited reads
"Keep fear away from me, Varuna,
and hold fast to me
O emperor of Order
Set me free from anguish, as one would free a calf from a roap;
I can not live to live apart from you even for the blink of an eye."
This is the same verse just translated differently and that’s likely why we’re having a difficult time finding it or researching it. We seem to be trying to look for it using the less used translation. So, word to the wise these are the same verse and it comes from The Rig Veda Book 2 Hymn 28 (also known as “Loose Me From Sin” specifically line 6.
