Please help with reading my knee MRI report

i have my MRI report, of my right knee..and I dont know what any of this means.

can someone help explain this to me?

1) significant chondromalacia of the upper pole of the patella, the central portion of which is nearly denuded of articular cartilage.

2) there is relatively extensive subjacent bone adema and some cystic change

3) small effusion

any help understanding this would be greatly appreciated
