Spotting after your period is not a reason for alarm. If you have only had your menstrual cycle for a couple of years, it is possible that your body is still adjusting to its own cycle and that is what is causing the spotting. However, if you are sexually active and not on any form of birth control, it is possible to be pregnant and have spotting occur. In your case, we highly doubt that you are pregnant since you said that your last menstrual cycle was normal.

If the spotting continues, go and see your doctor to be sure.
