I take it that you mean 45,000.

You will likely have excessive bleeding, but I would not consider this a contraindication to a normal vagina delivery.

If you wind up with a C-section I am betting that the surgeon or anesthesiologist or both are going to want platelets available.

First of all a short history: 11/06 platelet count 87000 I had a BMB in Jan of 07 to rule out any other health issues. Blood tests were done to rule out lupus. At that time there was an issue once a week and a blood transfusion about once a month.
