I enjoy using Yedda to ask and answer medical questions. I previously worked as a nurse but am now based from home - having just completed a long spell of breast cancer treatment.

Life has also been busy lately after the arrival of our new puppy called poppy. She's a black labarador retriever and drives us all crazy at times but we just adore the buzz she brings to the house. Last week she caused me a shoulder injury by tugging when out walking - but I can forgive that for the fun she brings.

Last month my husband invested in the Resperate device for lower blood pressure - and boy is it effective? We've discovered that it's much better overall to lower blood pressure naturally.

You are lucky to have thick wayward hair. All my life I have had thin wayward hair. I have tried alot of things. Some things around the house might have preservatives in them and I'm not sure but did they tell you to avoid alot of things in your hair? I am thinking that either the dr./and or hairdresser could tell you best.

I agree with Donna Lynne about consulting a hairdresser.  But I had a lot of luck with a ceramic straightening iron in helping to control my thicker, coarse hair.  (But I want to mention that I have never had chemotherapy, if that makes a difference).

Good luck :)
