I sent my payment through the mail, and I received a letter today saying that I owe that payment. Where is my money?
You need to address your letter directly to the business or person it is intended for. Or better yet, use the phone and speak to someone. Before you call, ask your bank and see if your check was cashed on their end. If you know that your check was cashed then you have some leverage when you call.
Look at your bill. Usually they tell you the phone number if you have a problem. Good luck with this.
