What grad school/masters degree can I get to help environment?

If I want to work in a field to help the environment, do you have any suggestions as to what masters degree would be the most useful?  I want to work to help save our environment from the disaster that we have almost created... global warming projects, solar energy, alternatives to gasoline, etc.  Any ideas?

Most schools offer Environmental Studies Programs. Depending on your specific interests within Environmental Studies, you could narrow down your choices.

Here is a website that lists graduate and post-graduate programs in Environmental Studies in the United States. I hope this helps! Good luck.

Hi,

There are many ways you can help the environment and it all depends on from which point you want to address the problem from. You could go into business and focus on projects that help the environment. You could get a law degree and dedicate your life to fighting for environmental causes. You could study environmental engineering and help plan solutions for problems we see around us every day.

I think that from these few examples you get the impression that you can find ways to help the environment in many different lines of work. I suggest you go study something you think your interested in and that you think you'll be good at and then apply it towards helping the environment. You'll find the way to do this if it's important to you.

Good luck.
