Your thinking in the right direction but from comminitiy action is simply not enough because then each comminity could write their own law and this is definitly impossible. If and I say if it can´t be done by the government then it should be a State law that police brutality when brought to Justice should carry a prison sentence and that person should never be able to do any kind of police work again. So many times they are given a slap on the hand and thus go back to doing what they did but with more care not to be found out. More screening should be done before men or women are given jobs that require carring weapons be it a gun or shock stick or night stick as there are so many sick people who enjoy infecting pain on others and this is also not done in dept and the ground is always the same, "not enough funds" We send billions and billions of dollars overseas to feed the hungry, to teach the illerate,to help build back countries destroyed be nature, WAR for oil or other only God knows reasons and our own country, our own people are suffering for it. Think on Katrina and New Orleans. Think on the California fires, Immigration cpsting billions and Americans have to beg for help in their own land. Our Social Security system is getting low and they have the gaul to say it is because we are living longer. How about the money taken out of Social Security to cover other needs and never put back. That you don´t hear about. We worked all our life and paid in and when we think we can have a few years of comfort before we leave this earth, they say we are living to long Who can afford to get sick in America today except the woman who had the eight babies or people who really are well off. Think about it. Little by little for the last few deckaes they have been changing our way of life and it evidently went unseen and not felt until lately. I could go on and on but alone no one can achieve sucess. So many people think Obama will bring change but it is not him, it is US that bring the change. Thats seems to have been forgotten along the way.
