I want to learn to make a gohei properly ( like origomi directions) so that I can make a shimenawa for a very old tree in my yard that my family loves. Also if i can not get the rice sheafs to make the rope here will another similar plant be acceptable ( something more avalable in western Pennsylvania USA)?
