What God says about the rapture. 4/18/2009
Because I only pass through all about God, I can be slow to answer a question until I have read it. And now that I have, God will give His own words for your full understanding.
“. . . .that He might make thee to know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.” Deuteronomy 8:3
The Word who is the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him, [Heb. 5:9] just told you in the verse above how we are to live. In other words, you ask about the rapture, and why I don’t believe in it, and your question will be properly answered by many of God’s words, as in “here a little, and there a little” Isaiah 28:10
“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.”
Titus 1:2
Notice Paul’s words to Titus. . . “In hope of eternal life”. . . so just thinking that because you believe in God and Christ you have been saved by God’s grace is only partially true. It all depends on you.
In 1st Samuel 2:3 are some very important words that we all must take to heart as a priority in your life.
“Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed.”
Those words directly from God are telling you to humble yourself. He is telling you something that few can and will do before it is too late. Swallow your pride, admit that you have been deceived through false teachings while following God’s words in the center verse of the Bible in Psalms 118:8.
“It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.” So simply do as the Bereans did in Acts 17:11.
“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
So what they were doing is exactly what Paul told the Thessalonians to do. “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”
There is no end to words of scripture than can be written for explaining words of scripture. In other words, scripture interprets scripture. Let’s use an example beginning in Jeremiah 17:10
“I the Lord search the heart; I try the reins, even to every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”
In that verse, God is talking to His flock, or those who believe in Him. [Saved ones] Look at the first words. “I the Lord search the heart.” Those words are so powerful, and so full of in-depth meaning that few can even relate to. God uses just the word ‘heart” throughout scripture approximately 722 times. In Hebrews 4:12, God even tells you that He is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. God knows you, by your heart, better than you know your own self. With man, his lips will say one thing, but his heart says another that only God knows.
Back to here a little which was Jeremiah 17:10, while going on to there a little which will be John 15:5-6.
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”
Christ, [the Word] says in 1 Peter 2:21 that He left an example, and we are to follow His steps. Yet almost no one does, yet in His Kingdom all will, so why not do it now?
Again, another separate study is required for that subject.
Now if one is saved, but not abiding in Christ. How can he be cast into the fire and burned? Again, scripture interprets scripture, and I could spend much time writing many words of truth on that question that I will save for another discussion. Let’s just leave it with God cannot lie. So if one has no fruits of obedience, and does not repent, he or she, will be burned. And there is no hell. God just would not eternally torture someone. That is why there is a second death by being cast into the lake of fire. It is eternal punishment as in eternal death. So very easy to understand, yet the pride of human beings will just never admit being wrong, but very soon, sadly to say, hundreds of millions will have to learn the hard way.
When one is lacking many important truths of God, it can be very difficult in teaching them a subject regarding something that they don’t fully understand. It is my prayer that God will just reveal to you His simple truth on the rapture as we now discuss it.
“For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.
Those words written by Paul are perfectly true, just as they are written, but not as you have been falsely misled. Again, scripture must interpret scripture, here a little, and there a little.
“Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
I truly want only your understanding of what God is about to plainly show you. I am interpreting nothing, and I am not sharing my thoughts. What I am doing is simply showing you what God says.
This subject, just like every subject concerning God, can be very detailed and never ending. And Amen to that, because full knowledge of God is un-searchable.
But just for now, I will only do my best with the surface that is required to plant the seeds of truth within your hearts, and from there, they will grow more as your desires for God’s truth increases.
First of all, what noticeable differences in words are used in those two verses regarding the trumpet? In Thessalonians Paul writes “with the trump of God” and in Corinthians he writes “at the last trump.”
In Revelation 8:2 the words read;
“And I saw seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. Very soon the first trumpet shall sound, and with that will begin the worst physical suffering that has ever been followed by five more trumpets. Those six trumpets will be what takes place on earth over the next 31/2 years.
“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying: The Kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 11:15 What you just read was the last trump, when things [God’s plan] were finished.
So what does that mean? Tribulation, and you were in it.
“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at His coming.”
Do you want to be one of Christ’s firstfruits that are of the 144,000 when He returns? There will be very few that can earn that honor, because right now is the greatest calling that shall ever be for all eternity.
“And hath made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on earth. These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the lamb.” Revelation 5:10, 7:14
However, many of those who repent, and are alive when Christ come, will be blessed with a new life beginning in the kingdom of God right here on earth, just as the Word teaches throughout the instruction book called the Holy Bible.
So what about the lives of all church people that have to go through the tribulation? If you repent now, and with all your heart, totally, 100% in spirit and truth that only God will know.
Read Psalms 91
The time is at hand, and men of God of truth with heartfelt care for others will be very difficult to find. I have been in the Philippines for over two years now, and my life has been very difficult because of God’s training. Yet as a man without, my faith has only grown stronger while never wavering.
What I understand, few want to hear, yet somewhere, someone does, and through God, that will be my leading, and where I shall go as a pastor, teacher, and friend that is willing to suffer just to make what’s about to happen easier to handle with a proper spiritual attitude and education that has been missed. You can laugh, disbelieve, not like me, ignore me, or what ever you please. However, what is will not change, and the time left is in the months. Prior to the return of Christ, the 6.8 billion people on earth will be reduced to approximately 680 million. If you repent, and come to God in his ways, you could be one of them.
