Demi, I don't like to use labels.
In fact, if you look at my profile; you can see that I avoided picking 'topics' I'm interested in - just BECAUSE I don't want to be classified.
So I'm probably the wrong person to ask as far as answering this question!
Nevertheless, I'll give it a shot. Maybe you can think of yourself as I once thought of myself - similar to an onion. I know, that sounds weird, huh?
Think of it this way. What do you see when you look at a whole onion? You just see one basic round object; nothing complex, nothing interesting - it's just there.
Now, what do you see when you cut the onion in half? You see layer upon layer upon layer... each one different than the last.
People are like that.
The outside is just there. People sometimes look, but they don't SEE.
They make assumptions based on what they perceive the outside to be; so you might be labeled a 'dork' or an 'emo' girl or a 'jock' or anything else.
The INSIDE is where all the parts are found. Each layer is another facet of you and who you are; just as you described yourself in this question.
Make a bit more sense, now? So if I say, "You're an onion," you'll know what I mean, right? Gotcha.
You're an onion.
