Well for me, the first things I noticed about my boyfriend, where his smile, his eyes, and his height. But let me tell you- I'm absoutly in love with his kindness,sense of humor,the way he loves me and takes care of me, he's humble romantic has a heart of gold and I wouldn't trade him for the world. He's my sunrise and sunset,my best friend for life.---And I can honestly say all of these things and more------because we now have been married for 30 years!!!!!!!!

Good evening, JQNA and thanks for the invite to your question.

I'm probably the wrong person to ask, as my BF says I am completely oblivious to things most people would notice and I notice small things most people never see.

But upon reflection, I think the three things I am most likely to notice about a man are his voice and how he speaks (ghetto talk is so unattractive), his manner of dress (I hate saggy britches) and his eyes.

And if we can add one more, I'll say manners. A man who spits on the ground is gross and disgusting - so I'm going to notice, but it's all negative!

Hi Jqna,
Thubms up to the above answers. Just as JKgrandma I am very different from most guys. I trey not to be impressed by the "external beauty" and am investigating the "internal beauty": The way she dress, the way she sits / stands, the way she looks at me, her face expresions, her reactions, he body language (nervouse ? smily ? tension ?......), how and what she talks (content). Personallity is much more important than appearance !.

Since we are talking physical characteristics, it would be eyes, voice and hands. There is something about a strong, hard working pair of hands that always gets me. Soft, well manicured hands on a man always seem out of place to me. I guess, in a superficial way, they represent raw masculinity.

How is it that if you have a set of data, x1,y1....xn,yn with a known linear relationship between x & y (y = mx + c), and the best straight line fit MUST go through xbar,ybar (xbar average of all x values, ybar is average of all y values).

Mr.Jqna, What kind of icon is that? Take that off. I like the other one much better. And thanks for the invite to your question.

What I notice about the opposite sex is their hair, height and weight. I love for a man to have a little bit longish, shaggy type hair. I also love tall men, even though I am not tall myself. It's nice to have a man you can look up to. Weight is also important. Too skinny is not a good thing. I like to have something to hold on to.
