My father has been renting in the same house for years. Recently the house went into foreclosure and this month the home was both by a new lessor. The new lessor first tried to get him to rent from them. But they up'd the price dramatically, and as a retired man on a fixed income, he couldn't afford it. Now he has to find somewhere else to live. He explained to the new onwers that he couldn't afford it. And they agreed to give him til the end of the month. But a few days later they sent him a letter saying he needed to pay them 400.00 in 3days or get out. Now Can they do that...& aren't they suppose to pay him a relocation fee and give him 60days? We live in California
