Southall has far better food than brick lane so why don't more tourists jump on the train and eat really good Punjabi food?
Brick lane is more central and people know about it - it has more history.
Thats one thing tourists miss out , in my opinion you should always ask for recommendations from a local resident in order to know where the good stuff is.
