I found a "Taylor Meat and Poultry Thermometer" no ...

I found a "Taylor Meat and Poultry Thermometer" no. 5936 still in the orginial box. It's made of glass with the black liquid in the tube, it also comes with a skewer to make the hole in the meat first. I was wondering how to find out exactly how old it is, or at least the years it was sold. Thank you.
